شاخص های مرسوم و جدید در علم سنجی
علم سنجی (Scientometrics) یکی از متداول ترین روش های ارزیابی فعالیت های علمی - پژوهشی است. علم سنجی با جنبه های مختلفی همچون تولید، اشاعه و استفاده از اطلاعات علمی سر و کار داشته و به محدوده علمی یک رشته خاص تعلق ندارد. بسیاری از پیشگامان این حوزه، هدف از علم سنجی را بررسی فرآیندهای موجود در پژوهش علمی برای مدیریت موثرتر علم معرفی می کنند. در این مقاله، علاوه بر شاخص های مرسوم، به شاخص های جدید علم سنجی می پردازیم. برای ارزیابی دقیق تر فعالیت های علمی هر کشور در سطح ملی، بهتر است از شاخص های بومی برای آن کشور استفاده شود. در این مقاله، به شاخص های بومی علم سنجی مانند اجرای ارزشیابی پژوهشی و چهار چوب برتری پژوهشی انگلستان، فاکتور کراون در کشور هلند و امتیاز Z استنادی در کشور سوئد اشاره می شود. در ادامه، نظام رتبه بندی لادن معرفی می شود. اطلاعات مورد نیاز برای این رتبه بندی از پایگاه تامسون رویترز دریافت می شود. تفاوت این سیستم رتبه بندی با سیستم های دیگر این است که توجه بیشتری به زمینه های تاثیر علمی و همکاری ها دارد.

شبه علم
شبه علم به ادعا، باور یا عملی گفته می شود که به عنوان علم ارائه می شود اما روش شناسی معتبر علمی را رعایت نمی کند. از زمان گسترش این پدیده، دانشمندان سعی کرده اند تا با مشخص کردن معیارهایی بین علم و شبه علم، تمیز قائل شوند. در حالی که استانداردهای لازم برای تمایز بین این دو می تواند از رشته ای به رشته ی دیگر متفاوت باشد، اما مفهوم اساسی این است که تمامی نتایج آزمایش بر روی علت و اثر باید تکرارپذیر و قادر به تایید یکدیگر باشد. ابطال پذیر بودن و قابلیت رد کردن یک فرضیه، راه دیگری برای تشخیص علم از شبه علم است. شبه علم بر پایه غیر آزمون بودن و ابطال ناپذیری فرضیه شکل می گیرد. امروزه سرقت ادبی و سوءرفتار پژوهشی که باعث باز پس گیری مقالات چاپ شده می گردد، به نوعی می تواند شبه علم باشد. علاوه بر آن جعل کردن و تحریف داده ها که یکپارچگی مقالات علمی را بر هم می زند و صدمات جبران ناپذیری در زمینه پزشکی دارد، نیز شبه علم محسوب می شود. شبه علم دانشگاهی که در ظاهر خود، هم چون علم است، اما در باطن فاقد جوهر زمینه ای علم می باشد، تمایز بین علم و شبه علم را مشکل کرده است. با توجه به گسترش شبه علم در جهان امروز، ضروری است تا تفکر انتقادی به عنوان یک ارزیابی متعهدانه، مهارتی و قضاوتی باورها، در نظام آموزشی علوم گنجانده شود.

نشریات ایده جریان های نو
سرعت بالای تحقیقات و پژوهش های علمی این مهم را به وجود می آورد تا نشریاتی به حوزه علوم راه یابند تا بتوانند نیاز دانشمندان و محققان را برای به روز ماندن با خیل وسیع اطلاعات و نتایج علمی فراهم کنند. لذا، در این راستا دسته ای از مجلات با عنوان ایده جریان های نو شروع به فعالیت کرده اند و مقالات مروری را در زمینه های علوم زیستی و پزشکی منتشر می کنند. هدف از این نوع مقالات، مرور مقالات جدید با تاکیدی خاص روی آن دسته از مقالاتی است که در دو سال اخیر به چاپ رسیده اند. به نحوی که موضوعات مورد بحث در آن ها به بخش های مجزا تقسیم می شود، که هر کدام از آن ها سالیانه یک بار مورد بازبینی قرار می گیرند. این گروه از مقالات از طریق ارائه دیدگاه های روشن و قابل فهم متخصصان در مورد پیشرفت های اخیر روی زمینه های معین و فراهم آوردن امکان بررسی جذاب ترین مقالات منتشر شده از معتبر ترین انتشارات، به نویسندگان کمک می نمایند. در واقع آنچه که می توان در مورد این مقالات گفت این است که، ایده جریان های نو به عنوان منبع بسیار گرانبهایی هستند از به روز ترین اطلاعات برای محققان، سخنرانان، اساتید و دانش پژوهان نگارش می شود. این مقالات تنها بر روی کار خود نویسنده تمرکز ندارند، بلکه از دستاوردهای علمی سایر محققان برای نوشتن آن ها استفاده می گردد. البته، خوانندگان این مجلات طیف وسیعی از افراد چون دانشجویان، اعضاء علمی دانشگاه، محققان و صاحبان مشاغل را شامل می شوند؛ بنابراین این نشریات باید دید جامعی در زمینه های مورد چاپ خود داشته باشند.

رویکردهای جدید در دیپلماسی علم و فناوری
یکی از مهم ترین مباحث سیاستگذاری علم و فناوری، دیپلماسی علم و فناوری می باشد. دیپلماسی علم و فناوری قدمی است برای ارتباط علم و فناوری به سیاست خارجه کشور برای دستیابی به توسعه دوطرفه و استفاده از دیپلماسی برای توسعه علم و فناوری و تلاش برای استفاده از علم و فناوری در جهت اهداف دیپلماتیک. بیش از دو دهه از مطرح شدن موضوع دیپلماسی علم و فناوری می گذرد و در این مدت، رویکردهای مختلفی به دیپلماسی علم و فناوری شکل گرفته است. در این پژوهش تلاش می شود تا بررسی تجارب و رویکردهای کشورهای مختلف در حوزه دیپلماسی علم و فناوری و معرفی مراکز فعال در این عرصه، شاخص های رویکردهای نوین دیپلماسی علم و فناوری بیان شود. در ادامه، سیاست و برنامه های جمهوری اسلامی ایران برای تحقق دیپلماسی علم و فناوری و استفاده از این ابزار برای توسعه علم و فناوری و توسعه سیاسی بیان می شود و در انتها پیشنهادهایی برای پیشرفت و گسترش این حوزه ارائه می شود.

مفهوم و جایگاه سواد علمی در پیشرفت و توسعه پایدار کشور
در عصر حاضر بسیاری از کشورها علاوه بر پژوهش درباره حوزه های مختلف علوم و فناوری، زمان و منابع زیادی را صرف بهبود آموزش علوم و فناوری در مدارس و مراکز آموزش عالی می کنند. بسیاری از نویسندگان و پژوهشگران معتقدند که ارتقای سطح سواد علمی یکی از هدف های اصلی آموزش علوم تلقی می گردد. سواد علمی یک واژه بین المللی شناخته شده و پر آوازه است و ترویج و ارتقای آن در حوزه های مختلف به فلسفه آموزش علوم در سطح جهان تبدیل گشته است. علت این امر را می توان در تاثیر روزافزون علم و فناوری در زندگی روزمره شهروندان و نیاز جوامع به توسعه پایدار دانست. در این نوشتار دیدگاههای جهانی در رابطه با آموزش علوم و فناوری، ماهیت سواد علمی، مبانی و چارچوب نظری سواد علمی مورد بررسی و کاوش قرار گرفته است.

چیستی روزنامه نگاری علمی
در عصر کنونی که آن را عصر ارتباطات نام نهادند، دیدگاه سنتی درباره علم توسط ابزارهای نوینی همچون رسانه به چالش کشیده شده است. امروزه، روزنامه نگاری علمی جایگاه ویژه ای را به خود اختصاص داده است. روزنامه نگاری تخصصی در حوزه های علمی نیاز مبرم جامعه است. مسائل و موضوعات جامعه از دریچه این نوع روزنامه نگاری می تواند مطرح شود. روزنامه نگاران علمی همانند پلی میان علم و جامعه عمل می کنند. در این مقاله به تبیین و ضرورت نیاز جامعه به روزنامه نگاری علمی می پردازیم. هدف، آشنا کردن جامعه با اهمیت و نقش روزنامه نگاری علمی و توجه جدی به این قشر به عنوان حلقه واسط علم و جامعه است . این مطالعه درصدد پاسخ به این سوال است روزنامه نگاران علمی در ارتقای سطح دانش جامعه چه نقشی دارند؟ در این پژوهش از روش تحلیلی - توصیفی استفاده می کنیم. تخصصی شدن علوم سبب شده تا هر علمی زبان ویژه خود را داشته باشد. به منظور کاهش شکاف میان متخصصان و عموم مردم، روزنامه نگاران علمی نقش میانجی را بازی کرده و عملا در گسترش مرزهای دانش و ارتقای سطح علمی جوامع گام بر می دارند. با بررسی های انجام شده می توان گفت روزنامه نگاری علمی در ایران از آنچه هست با آنچه که باید باشد، فاصله دارد.

پزشکی فردی: تحولی جدید در مراقبت از بیمار به سمت پیش بینی و پیشگیری
پزشکی فردی، بر طراحی درمان های پزشکی بر اساس ویژگی های فردی از هر بیمار متمرکز است. البته این به معنای طراحی و ساخت داروی خاص و یا دستگاه های پزشکی منحصر به یک فرد نیست، بلکه دسته بندی افراد به زیر جمعیت هایی است که در حساسیت به یک بیماری خاص و یا پاسخ به درمان خاص متفاوتند. تفاوت های افراد بر پایه داده های بالینی و علوم او میکس توسط دانش بیوانفورماتیک شناسایی شده و امکان تشخیص زودهنگام و غربالگری افراد دارای پتانسیل ابتلا به بیماری خاص فراهم می شود. برای دستیابی به اثر مشابه درمانی یک نوع دارو، میزان یا دوز (کمتر و یا بیشتر از آن ) دارو نیز برای بیماران بر اساس ویژگی های ژنتیکی و ژنومی تعیین می گردد. حتی گاهی یک دارو در برخی اثر درمانی ندارد. این یک روش موثر برای کاهش هزینه آزمایش های بالینی و عوارض جانبی و مراقبت های بالینی در مدت زمان کمتر می باشد و درمان را بر اساس محتوای ژنتیکی یک بیمار و یا تجزیه و تحلیل های زیست مولکولی انتخاب می نمایند. هدف پزشکی فردی این است که شرایط را برای تجویز داروهای موثرتر، ایمن تر و بهتر فراهم آورده و عوارض جانبی آنها را به حداقل رسانند.

تغییرات اقلیم،گرمایش جهانی و دیابت
افزایش میانگین دمای زمین به میزان 4 / 0 درجه سانتی گراد از سال ۱۹۷۵ تا ۲۰۰۰ میلادی، محققان را به یقین رسانیده است که گرمایش جهانی کره زمین آغاز شده است . یک درجه سانتیگراد افزایش درجه حرارت ، جو را قادر می سازد تا ۶ درصد بخار آب بیشتری را نگاه دارد. این موضوع باعث کمبود بیش از پیش آبهای شیرین و قابل دسترس برای ساکنان زمین خواهد بود. تغییرات یاد شده و نا پایداری های سیستم های آب و هوایی سبب تغییراتی گسترده و غیر منتظره در محیط زیست کره زمین شده است. افزایش وقایع مربوط به پدیده ال نینو از سال های میانی دهه هشتاد در قرن بیستم و رخداد «اثر جزیره گرمایی » در بسیاری از مناطق شهری، افزایش گرمای هوا به مقدار ۴ تا ۵ درجه سانتی گراد را به دنبال خواهد داشت. . تغییر در آب و هوای جهان، دامنه تغییرات گسترده ای را برای سلامت انسان ایجاد کرده است. رخدادهای شدید آب و هوایی با درگیر کردن جمعیت های بزرگ انسانی در موقعیت های غیر طبیعی و قرار دادن آنها در معرض تنش های گرمایی، کمبود آب و غذای مناسب، تغییرات نامطلوب فیزیولوژیک و افزایش خطر ابتلا به بیماری های مزمن و مخاطره آمیزی نظیر دیابت را به دنبال آورده است. همچنین ضرورت گریز از این شرایط نامطلوب، هجوم روستاییان به شهرها و اتخاذ زندگی مدرن و صنعتی را موجب شده است. پیامد این مهاجرت نامبارک، تراکم جمعیتی بالای شهرها، تشکیل زاغه ها و حومه های شهری پرتراکم و بدون امکانات شهری، ، تغذیه نامناسب یا نادرست ، نبود زیر ساخت های شهری مانند فضای سبز مناسب و کافی ، سامانه های حمل و نقل عمومی ، امکانات بهداشتی و در کنار آن آلودگی مستقیم و غیر مستقیم هوا ، آب و منابع زیرزمینی، نبود تحرک فیزیکی مناسب و انواع نگرانی ها بوده است. بدون شک این عوامل همگی از عوامل تخریبی و فعال کننده مسیرهای نامطلوب زیستی و بویژه ایجاد پتانسیل بالا برای ابتلا به دیابت محسوب می شود. در این مقاله به بررسی تفصیلی هر یک از این عوامل و چگونگی اثرگذاری آنها بر افزایش جمعیت بیماران مبتلا به دیابت خواهیم پرداخت.

اگر علم شناخت زیست سامانه را سیستم بیولوژی بنامیم، علم ساخت سامانه های زیستی که موجودات زنده جدیدی را به منظور تامین نیازهای انسان می سازد را بیولوژی ساختگی) سینتتیک بیولوژی( می نامند. به منظور ایجاد موجودات زنده جدیدی که خارج از فرآیند تکامل بوجود آمده است در ابتدا می باید سیستم های زیستی به خوبی شناخته شود. بدین منظور ابزارهای متعددی وجود دارد که به سرعت در حال گسترش هستند. از گذشته تحقیقات در برخی از موجودات مانند گیاهان نسبت به دیگران پیشی گرفته و برخی دیگر از این تحقیقات حتی تصورشان در حوزه جانوری دور از ذهن می باشد، مانند تعدد سطوح پلوییدی و آنیوپلوییدی ها در گیاهان که به خاطر تحمل بالای گیاهان، این فرصت به محققان این حوزه ها داده شده تا علومی چون ژنتیک گیاهان شاهد پیشرفت های چشم گیرتری باشد. گیاهان الکترونیکی ابزار جدیدی برای مطالعه سیستم های زیستی به نحوی آسان تر از گذشته قابل دسترس شده اند. ریشه، ساقه، برگ و ارتباطات آوندی گیاهان عالی مسئول انتقال پیام های شیمیایی تنظیم کننده رشد و فعالیت های گیاهی هستند. به واسطه حضور چنین مدارات مجتمعی در گیاهان می توان تعداد زیادی از کاربردها شامل ضبط دقیق رویدادها و تنظیمات فیزیولوژیکی، برداشت انرژی فتوسنتز و جایگزین برای اصلاح ژنتیکی و شناخت دقیق تر اجزای سیستم های گیاهی را متصور شد.

زالوی طبی ایرانی، شگفتی خلقت در گذر زمان
گونه های مختلف زالوی طبی در طول تاریخ در درمان بیماری های مختلف مورد استفاده قرار گرفته اند. مقاله حاضر مروری بر تاریخچه زیست شناسی و درمان و تکثیر و پرورش این موجود ارزشمند می باشد. سه گونه زالوی طبی Hirudo medicinalis H. verbana و H. orientalis بیشتر در طب سنتی مورد استفاده قرار گرفته اند. البته زالوی طبی ایرانی (Hirudo orientalis) در سال ۲۰۰۵ توسط Utevsky و Trontelj توصیف شده است. زالوی طبی در زندگی افرادی چون هیتلر، ناپلئون و جورج واشنگتن نقش داشته است. راز اثر زالوهای طبی در آنزیم های متنوعی است که از غدد بزاقی ترشح می شوند و هنگام تغذیه از انسان این آنزیم ها به جریان خون وارد می شوند. برداشت بی رویه زالوی طبی از طبیعت، جمعیت های طبیعی گونه را با خطر انقراض مواجه ساخته است. از طرفی بواسطه احتمال انتقال آلودگی از زالوهایی که از طبیعت جمع آوری می شوند، تکثیر و پرورش این گونه زالو ها از اهمیت بسزایی برخوردار است. در این راستا مزرعه تکثیر و پرورش زالوی طبی در مزرعه تحقیقاتی پردیس علوم دانشگاه تهران تاسیس شده است. همچنین کمیته راهبری زالوی طبی متشکل از نمایندگان سازمان های مرتبط جهت تدوین استاندارد تولید، تکثیر، توزیع، نگهداری و درمان و رعایت ایمنی پس از مصرف برای تضمین سلامت و عاری از آلودگی بودن زالو و کنترل، حفاظت و نظارت برداشت زالو از طبیعت و تجدید ذخایر آن تشکیل شد.

نیمه تاریک عطرها و رایحه های مصنوعی
ما همواره در معرض استنشاق یا تماس با مواد شیمیایی هستیم که ترکیبات سازنده عطرها، ادکلن ها و رایحه های معطر در محصولات آرایشی، بهداشتی و شوینده ها را تشکیل می دهند. عطرها یکی از شایع-ترین علل بسیاری از حساسیت های پوستی، چشمی و سیستم تنفسی هستند. بررسی های مختلف انجام گرفته برروی مواد شیمیایی مورد استفاده در ساخت رایحه های مصنوعی نشان دهنده آثار مخرب این گونه مواد بر فعالیت و عملکرد هورمون های بدن و ایجاد اختلال در روند طبیعی ترشح هورمون های مهمی چون تیروئید است. با توجه به اهمیت موضوع و به جهت افزایش سطح آگاهی در این مقاله ابتدا توضیحی درباره مواد شیمیایی نامشخصی که تشکیل دهنده ترکیبات رایحه های مصنوعی هستند ارائه شده است. همچنین مروری اجمالی بر نتایج و بررسی های انجام شده پیرامون حساسیت زایی و اختلالات هورمونی که این مواد مسبب آن ها هستند صورت گرفته است. در انتها نیز نمونه هایی از این گونه مواد شیمیایی به همراه اثرات جانبی و مواد جایگزین پیشنهاد شده برای آن ها ذکر و راهکارهایی برای کاهش اثرات مضر احتمالی بر بدن انسان ارائه شده است.
