Journal Article 2017 12 22 In addition to its role in the expression of national identity, the expansion of the tourism industry promotes broader economic dimensions, including the creation of job opportunities, income generation, poverty reduction and the spread of social justice and welfare in society. Among the various tourism areas, health tourism and its subcategories have received great attention due to their competitive advantages and abilities. In this research, the aim of this study was to investigate the nature of tourism in view of the importance of the medical tourism branch of the health tourism complex, with the help of library resources and the analysis of expert opinions. In addition, its status in Iran is briefly presented. In this regard, the greatness of the ancient medicine of Iran and its valuable services are presented to the world and contemporary medicine is also examined. The results show that while contemporary Iranian medicine is also worthy of appreciation, it needs to be stepped up in its ever-increasing promotion. There are generally experienced physicians, medical history, therapeutic and regulatory infrastructure, the existence of standard hospitals and clinics, adequate and up-to-date medical equipment, suitable housing services such as hotel hospital, proper nursing service, and the existence of rules of medical monitoring is the major healthcare infrastructure of a country, in order to enable the country to integrate tourism and tourism services into the medical tourism sector at a qualitative stage. گسترش صنعت گردشگری علاوه بر نقش و تأثیر آن در ابراز هویت ملی، موجب ارتقای ابعاد وسیع اقتصادی از جمله ایجاد فرصتهای شغلی، درآمدزایی، کاهش فقر و گسترش عدالت اجتماعی و رفاه در جامعه میشود. در میان حوزههای مختلف گردشگری، گردشگری سلامت و زیرشاخههای آن به دلیل قابلیت و مزیتهای رقابتی از توجه زیادی برخوردار شده است. در این پژوهش تلاش شده است با توجه به اهمیت شاخه گردشگری پزشکی از مجموعه گردشگری سلامت، به کمک منابع کتابخانهای و تحلیل نظرات خبرگان، ماهیت این نوع گردشگری مورد توجه قرار گرفته و وضعیت آن در ایران بهاختصار معرفی گردد. در این راستا، عظمت پزشکی ایران قدیم و خدمات ارزنده آن به جهانیان مطرح شده و پزشکی معاصر نیز مورد بررسی قرار میگیرد. نتایج نشان میدهد که اگرچه پزشکی معاصر ایران نیز شایسته تقدیر هست، اما باید در راستای ارتقای روزافزون آن همت بیشتری گمارد. بهطور کلی وجود پزشکان متبحر و با تجربه، سابقه علم پزشکی، وجود زیرساختهای درمانی و نظارتی، وجود بیمارستانها و کلینیکهای استاندارد، تجهیزات پزشکی کامل و بهروز، خدمات اسکان مناسب همچون هتل بیمارستانها، خدمات پرستاری شایسته و همچنین وجود قوانین و نظارتهای پزشکی جزء زیرساختهای مهم درمانی یک کشور به شمار میروند، تا آن کشور بتواند در مرحله بعدی با ادغام خدمات اقامتی و گردشگری، اقدام به فعالیت مناسب در زمینه گردشگری پزشکی نماید. https://www.sciencecultivation.ir/article_242687_a7c65b111a1354a1ce6df24909afc08b.pdf
