Today, more attention is being given to the broader and deeper contributions of the heart. This article aims to introduce the lesser-known dimensions of the heart by drawing on both modern experimental science and the insights of ancient wisdom. We review evidence showing how the heart influences neural processes, decision-making, and emotional regulation. The article highlights the heart’s role as a sophisticated neuro-secretory and conscious center by integrating findings from neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, neurocardiology, and psychophysiology with perspectives from ancient wisdom. Bridging scientific discoveries with timeless wisdom enriches our understanding of the heart’s determining role in connection with the brain, intuitive intelligence, emotional leadership, and decision-making. This convergence suggests the need to review, redefine, and expand our understanding to develop a realistic view of the universe. It also highlights ways in which modern humans can address semantic, moral, and environmental crises through wisdom-guided supervision and ethical leadership. In doing so, this approach may foster the sustainable development of human societies. بر اساس شواهد و یافته های علمی قابل تامل و چه بسا غیر قابل انکار، امروزه این باور که قلب دارای نقش‌های بسیار گسترده‌تر و عمیق‌تر از تلقی سنتی مبنی بر نقش آفزینی آن صرفا به عنوان یک پمپ مکانیکی برای گردش خون است، بیش از پیش مورد توجه قرار گرفته است. از اینرو در این مقاله، مستند به یافته های علوم تجربی نوین و با همراهی دیدگاه حکمت باستانی، ابعاد کمتر شناخته‌ شده قلب معرفی می شود و در آن به بررسی شواهد چگونگی تاثیر گذاری این عضو حیاتی، بر فرآیندهای عصبی، تصمیم‌گیری و تنظیم عواطف می پردازیم. این مقاله سعی دارد، فارغ از نقش بیشتر شناخته شده قلب در پمپ کردن خون، با تلفیق یافته‌های نوروآناتومی ، نوروفیزیولوژی ، نوروکاردیولوژی و روان‌فیزیولوژی با حکمت باستانی، ضمن طرح مسئله، تا حد ممکن به نقش قلب به عنوان یک مرکز پیچیده عصبی-ترشحی و هوشیار بپردازد. این همگرایی بین علم و حکمت، ضمن افزودن بر غنای درک ما از نقش تعیین‌کننده قلب در ارتباط با مغز، در هوش شهودی، رهبری عاطفی و تصمیم گیری، آشکار کننده اهمیت بازبینی، باز تعریف و تعمیم این همگرائی در تامین نگرش واقع بینانه به جهان هستی و ارتقای کارآمدی انسان معاصر در پیشگیری و کنترل بحران‌های معنایی، اخلاقی و زیست‌محیطی مبتلابه از رهگذر نظارت و رهبری اخلاقی حکمت در جهت دهی و کاربست یافته های علم نوین و در نتیجه تامین کننده توسعه پایدار جوامع بشری است. https://www.sciencecultivation.ir/article_727692_5a9141e06c21242116a5b6b441a47727.pdf
