Smart tourism, which is based on technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), and big data, faces fundamental challenges related to the security of personal and financial data, trust among stakeholders, and the high costs of transactions. This article demonstrates that blockchain, with features such as decentralization, transparency, immutability of data, and the use of smart contracts, can play a key role in addressing these challenges. Its applications include secure identity verification of tourists, protection of sensitive information, strengthening trust between service providers and customers, and facilitating international payments. At the same time, limitations such as technical complexity, limited scalability, high energy consumption, and the absence of clear legal frameworks hinder the widespread adoption of this technology. By reviewing existing studies and analyzing the context of Iran, this article emphasizes that effective utilization of blockchain in the country’s tourism sector requires investment in digital infrastructure, the formulation of supportive policies, and the enhancement of digital literacy among managers. The novelty of this article lies in its clear presentation of blockchain’s potential for addressing the challenges of tourism in Iran and in proposing practical solutions for its implementation. فناوری بلاکچین در سال‌های اخیر به‌عنوان یکی از مهم‌ترین نوآوری‌های تحول‌آفرین در عرصه‌های مختلف شناخته شده و صنعت گردشگری نیز از این روند مستثنی نیست. گردشگری هوشمند که بر پایه فناوری‌هایی همچون اینترنت اشیاء، هوش مصنوعی و کلان‌داده شکل گرفته است، با چالش‌های اساسی در زمینه امنیت داده‌های شخصی و مالی، اعتماد میان ذی‌نفعان و هزینه‌های بالای تراکنش‌ها روبه‌روست. این مقاله نشان می‌دهد که بلاکچین با ویژگی‌هایی نظیر غیرمتمرکز بودن، شفافیت، تغییرناپذیری داده‌ها و استفاده از قراردادهای هوشمند، می‌تواند در رفع این چالش‌ها نقش‌آفرینی کند. کاربردهای آن شامل احراز هویت ایمن گردشگران، حفاظت از اطلاعات حساس، تقویت اعتماد میان ارائه‌دهندگان خدمات و مشتریان، و تسهیل پرداخت‌های بین‌المللی است. در عین حال، محدودیت‌هایی همچون پیچیدگی فنی، مقیاس‌پذیری محدود، مصرف انرژی بالا و نبود چارچوب‌های حقوقی شفاف مانع از پذیرش گسترده این فناوری می‌شوند. این مقاله ضمن مرور مطالعات موجود و تحلیل شرایط ایران، تأکید می‌کند که بهره‌گیری مؤثر از بلاکچین در گردشگری کشور مستلزم سرمایه‌گذاری در زیرساخت‌های دیجیتال، تدوین سیاست‌های حمایتی و ارتقای سواد فناورانه مدیران است. نوآوری این مقاله در آن است که با زبانی روشن، ظرفیت‌های بلاکچین را برای نخستین‌بار در ارتباط با چالش‌های گردشگری ایران معرفی و راهکارهایی عملی برای استفاده از آن پیشنهاد می‌کند. https://www.sciencecultivation.ir/article_731206_1bfd56372948ed63369c561eca05cc63.pdf
